Law and Gender with Professor Davis
Winter Quarter 2020 @SeattleU
This website contains an edited compilation of work I have completed throughout my Law and Gender class with Professor Angelique Davis. Our class explored how the law in the United States has intersected with foundational issues of gender equality and rights. In our three month exploration, we covered foundational court cases and synthesized academic inquiry with court history and tradition in light of today's changing legal world. Inside you will find seven court briefs which cover foundational gender-related court decisions. Each brief extracts critical legal concepts and building blocks which interact with a research component in the form of Blog Posts. Each Blog Post and Case Brief is accompanied by my brief commentary.
